Trump’s racist rhetoric brought horror to Charlottesville. His federal judge nominees will bring these views to courts. We must stop their confirmation.
We rely on the courts to protect Americans from Trump’s bigoted, perilous agenda. Trump is nominating extremist judges who will shape our legal system for decades to come. (http://slate.me/2rC9Fi6)
• Trump is responsible for filling more vacancies than any modern first-term president, due to GOP obstruction under Obama. Trump can pack the federal bench with racist, sexist, homophobic judges sharing his antipathy to civil rights/liberties.

There ARE tactics that Democrats can use to slow/stop the process:
• Demand candidates be reviewed by the American Bar Association before being nominated;
• Demand that nominees’ writings, legal representations and public statements are relevant to confirmation
• Stop Republicans from curtailing “blue slip” rights that allow senators to block unacceptable home-state nominees.
